VA VOLUNTARY SERVICE

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR PATIENTS - JoAnn Crawford of the gift shop at the VA is asking for volunteers and donations of Christmas gifts for VA patients to the gift shop before November 27-29 when they hold their ALA gift shop activity.  But anytime is good too.

LEFTOVER CHRISTMAS CARDS - JoAnn also said they would like to have Christmas cards for VA patients to send out.  She suggests your left over, unused cards or ones sent to you from fund raising organizations.  You may not use them but they are welcome to be donated as well.  It would be nice to have them early enough to send out by the patients, but anytime will do as well.  They would use them for next year or other craft uses.  You may want to package them and mail them to Barbara Bell at the address below.

15 DOLLAR GIFT CARDS - De Sias - HUD-VASH worker is asking for $15 gift cards for the adopt a veteran luncheon on Dec. 6th.  They can accept packaged cookies and toiletries too, but nothing with alcohol.

WHERE TO TAKE THEM OR SEND THEM - The Volunteer Office is the place:

Barbara Bell - Voluntary Service Manager
