We mentioned in the April edition of the Warrior Newsletter that a new Wall of Remembrance is being added to the National Korean War Memorial on the Mall in Washington, D.C. This new Wall will contain the names of all American Military personnel who fought in the War and were either Killed or Wounded or were Missing in Action during the Korean War.
We have now learned that there will be a fourth section of the Wall, to honor those who served in the War, besides the troops mentioned above. If you are a Korean War veteran who served in Korean during period June 25, 1950 till July 27, 1953, or if you had a spouse or family member who served during that period, that qualifies for inclusion on the Wall.
There is a form that you can fill out to be included. It also asks for a picture to be included, but this is optional. The form (attached below) should be filled out and sent as soon as possible because it is likely that there is limited Wall space and once the word gets out about this there will probably be a flood of forms coming in.
Don't miss this opportunity for long term recognition for your service.
