Having just experienced the services of one of our own, we are mindful of the respect due those of our military who, through the founding of our country to today, have given their lives to provide us the opportunity to live in the greatest nation ever founded... and to remind us of the privileges we enjoy and are obligated to respect, adhere to preserve for all of our descendents.

A reminder: The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Chartered by Congress in 1921 to respect and honor the memory of the many who gave their lives, unidentifiably, to protect and provide for us.

The Tomb is the most respected and protected memorial in the world. It is guarded 24 hours per day by a guard who serve ___ years in a regimen unmatched by any. They are volunteers ranging from __' ___" to __' ___" tall with a waist size not to exceed ___ inches. They march for ___
minutes; taking ___ steps across the front of the Monument; about-face for ___ seconds before marching to their other post. Their rifle is _______________ at each about face.
